This is part of an ongoing series I have slowly been working on. This set of images was shot in a few of the parking spots in Arches National Park. I did not search for trash. These bits of trash were unavoidable to anyone walking past. I did not stage trash and shot it as I found it. I try to connect the refuse to the landscape as much as possible in order to show how ridiculously out of place it is. In many cases there was a trash can within 20 feet of the offending rubbish.
